CARPET SHAMPOOING AND STEAMING
The Clean Geek uses a commercial grade shampooer and steamer. Our prices vary depending on the size of the carpeted area we charge anywhere from $25 upwards to $50. We also offer discounts for customers who chose to shampoo multiple carpeted areas. We also shampoo carpeted stair as well as furniture. Each piece of furniture is a $10 or $15 charge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Please read the following below as it defines all the rules, regulations, requirements and acceptable behavior. So please read them carefully.
Health and Safety: Everyone's health matters- We ask that you notify us if you or anyone in the household is sick or contagious. This way we can take the necessary precautions and/or reschedule your visit. We will not send our cleaners if someone within the home is sick or contagious and vice versa if one of our employees is sick or contagious. If your home is infested with fleas, bedbugs, etc., you must notify us within 48hr from the time cleaning is supposed to occur. This way we are given the proper time to reschedule your visit. If we are not notified of any of the following mentioned above then our employees will be required to leave the property and not finish the cleaning. This is for the protection of our employees and their families. You will need to inform us when everyone in the household is no longer sick and or have them leave the premises for the time of the cleaning. For households that are infested proof of extermination must be shown in order to resume services. If an employee spreads any illness, infection, fleas, bedbugs, etc., because we were not notified, to their personal place of residence, another client's home, or our equipment, you are liable to cover all fees associated with medical bills, damages, and extermination.
Key and Entry: Please make sure your home and/or property is accessible to us. We would appreciate a key or the code to be given to the office to allow us access into the premises, or even a lock box somewhere around the premises. If given permission the office will be given a copy of your key to keep on them. You may also hide a key at your house and let the office know of its location. If you wish to not grant us access to a key or door code, you must plan for an alternate way of entry. If we are unable to gain access upon arrival we will still charge 50% of your cleaning rate or cleaning estimate rate and will refund the other 50% if a new cleaning is not rescheduled. If we are en route and you have received a confirmation text letting you know so, and you cancel, we will still charge 50% of your cleaning as rate or cleaning estimate rate and refund the other 50%. Our employees' daily pay is by the job. They also use their own equipment as well as pay for their own gas. Unfortunately this means that our employees' pay is affected.
Security Alarms: If your home is equipped with a security system, if possible please ensure that it is turned off before we arrive. If this is not possible, then please inform our office of the correct codes and input sequence before your scheduled cleaning. This also applies to homes located in gated communities.
Office Hours: Our office is open for Monday- Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m and closed on all major holidays for all scheduling phone calls. For After hour phone calls please leave a detailed voicemail or text and we will return it the following business day. Cleaning may be scheduled for after hours.
Referrals: Tell your friends and family about The Clean Geek! If your referral books with us please make sure they inform us on who their referral is. This way you can receive $20.00 off of your next cleaning.
Charges: Unfortunately, we have to reserve the right to enforce these:
If a change, cancellation, skip, or rescheduling is necessary then we do require at least a 24 hours notice. Late cancellation: we do have a late cancellation fee of $20 which will be charged. Please leave a detailed voicemail or text if you are unable to reach the office. Reminder: If we do not have access to your home or property upon arrival, we will require 50% of your cleaning quote and/or cleaning rate to cover expenses. We are a small business. That means that our employees' daily pay is based on the jobs that are scheduled for that day. When you skip/cancel on short notice or lock the employee out, their pay is affected sense we will be unable to book another cleaning for that time slot. They also use their own equipment and pay for their own gas. Unfortunately that means they end up losing money on those days.
If at any time you would like to modify your cleaning, change the cleaning schedule or frequency, please contact the office. Our employees are unable to allow these requests. Please call our office for any changes wanted. It is also faster to contact us directly instead of our employees
Your rates will stay the same if you are a scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly client. These will be discussed upon scheduling.
Prices are subject to change if surfaces are excessively dirty and cause cleaners to spend an excess amount of time on areas. Employees are not subjected to clean excessive clutter or hazardous waste/materials.
Equipment and Supplies: The Clean Geak will supply all the equipment and materials needed for the cleaning. We rent all of our carpet shampooers, so we charge a starting flat fee of $100 to cover the cost of the rental. After that it is $50 per room, $25 per hallway and $4 per step. So please inform us on the day of scheduling if you are going to need any of your carpets shampooed, as we do have to go and pick up the rentals each time. We also need to be informed on the day of scheduling if you want your walls cleaned and/or your laundry folded as those come with additional fees. It takes extra supplies and is more dangerous for our employees to clean the surfaces of your walls. Extra time is required to clean those surfaces and to do laundry as well sense we do have to change and fold the load of laundry. The additional fees for the walls range anywhere from $20-$40 per wall depending on the wall. The additional fee for laundry is a flat fee of $20.
Arrival Time: Please be flexible with us and arrival times. Scheduled cleaning times may change upon each occurrence and or upon arrival. We ask for a 2 hour window of arrival time for all scheduled appointments. We make every effort to grant all accommodations and to be there by your scheduled time. However no times are guaranteed. Again we are a small business with limited employees. When an employee is scheduled for multiple jobs in one day we do our best to schedule their jobs with enough time in between to make it to the scheduled timing. We ask for a 2 hour window and inevitably some jobs run longer than expected which affect the timing of other job’s scheduled that day. We are also unable to give exact time frames on when the cleaning will be done. If cleaning needs to be done by a certain time please inform us before the cleaning. If need be we are able to leave and come back at a different time to finish cleaning. Thank you for the understanding.
Payment Policy and Additional Fees: We require a $50 non refundable down deposit at the time of scheduling. The rest of the full payment is due on the day of cleaning before the cleaners start. For the time being we only accept cashapp, venmo, zelle, or cash which will be collected at the cleaning. We unfortunately at this time we cannot expect cash for the $50 down deposit. Refunds are offered up to 75%. Qualifying situations where a refund is acceptable are no-call/no-shows that are past the 2 hour flexibility window and if after the cleaning the property was not done to the satisfaction of the client and the property is still dirty. This will need to be proven either by a walk through done by the owner or through pictures/videos that will need to be sent.
Cancellations: We require no later than a 24 hour notice on all cancellations. All late cancellations will be charged a $25 late cancellation fee. This will be additional to If we are unable to gain access upon arrival we will still charge 50% of your cleaning rate or cleaning estimate rate. We will however refund the other 50%. If we are in route and you have received a confirmation text letting you know so, and there is a cancellation, we will still charge 50% of your cleaning rate or cleaning estimate rate plus the additional $25 late fee. We will however refund the other 50%. Again these cancellations directly affect our employees daily pay. Additional fees include: Carpet shampooing starting with a flat fee of $100. After that $50 per room, $25 per hallway and $4 per step. Walls which range anywhere from $20-$40 per wall depending on the wall. laundry is a flat fee of $20. Distance fee for any property that is 30 minutes or long which has a fee $20-$40.
Accidents: Please keep in mind that accidents happen and some are inevitable. So If you have heirlooms, valuables, etc., please pick them up and secure them or put them away to avoid any accidents. The Clean Geek and our employees are not responsible for any broken objects.
Holidays: Holidays that we are closed for are July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Halloween and Easter. Regular service will continue on all other holidays.
Quality: We guarantee our work. To ensure that you receive the best quality there is an open line of communication from our owner to the employees to the client. If you would prefer supervisors they may come to your home as needed to ensure your satisfaction. Just please make sure to call our office and give us a heads up. We however do not guarantee the removal of stains. This includes rust, mildew or others caused by hard water build-up, stained floors, extreme cases of clutter or damage from lack of maintenance. Please feel free to contact us after your cleaning if it is not up to your standard. We will then make every effort to correct any problem immediately. All surfaces (i.e. marble, granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
Furniture on wood floors is assumed to have proper protection.
Issues and Complaints: All Clients have 24 hours to contact The Clean Geek with any issues, complaints or requests for free cleanings or refunds. After 24 hours all clients accept that we are not held accountable and free cleanings or refunds are no longer valid.
Limitations of Liability: If a client chooses to leave their door unlocked, please call the office to inform us on where the key is. The key must be left in an unsecured place where the employees of The Clean Geek are able to retrieve it. This releases The Clean Geek from all liabilities and attorney fees that arises from damage made before, during, or after the workers leave the premises. The client understands that they will be responsible for any damages that are caused before/during/after their scheduled service time. Client understands and agrees that The Clean Geek is a referral/placement service only and is not liable for any damage caused to property, items, or people. Client agrees to lock their valuables away in a safe place and agrees to release The Clean Geek from all liability for any valuables in the house, including repair or replacement.
